We’ll See You at the Back to School Expo This Saturday, August 6, 2022, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. DPSCD families, this year’s Back to School Expo on Saturday will be held at school locations across the District. You are encouraged to visit your community school to enroll, get valuable resources and learn about academic and extracurricular activities. Plus, there will be free snacks, giveaways and much more.

In partnership with ARISE Detroit, sign up to beautify a school, Neighborhoods Day is also on August 6, 2022. We’ll see you at a school near you on Saturday, August 6, 2022.

Final Summer on the Block is This Week! Students and families join us for the final Summer on the Block gathering Thursday, August 4, 2022, at: Priest Elementary-Middle School from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. and at Roberto Clemente Learning Academy from 12 p.m.-2 p.m. There will be free food, books, enrollment support, games and other family-centered fun activities. Parent Academy Workshops This Week: Parent Academy is your source for scholarships for college support. Take part in an online session Tuesday, August 2, 2022, from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. that explores various scholarships in Southeast Michigan designated for students from this region.
