Palmer Park Preparatory Academy is a premier Montessori school located in the heart of the University District. We have approximately 430 students in grades PreK-8 and are developing into a wall-to-wall Montessori school while offering 6th-8th grade traditional curriculum programs for the 2024-25 school year.

Our Montessori classrooms are designed to provide a method of education with an individualized child-centered approach. It is a unique learning experience where students make creative choices, discover, and explore knowledge in collaborative groups to develop their maximum potential in their classrooms. Palmer Park’s Montessori classrooms are blended, meaning multiple grades are served in a single classroom. Our Montessori classrooms for the 2023-2024 school year include:

Each year at Palmer Park Prep, a traditional grade is phased out as we move toward our wall-to-wall Montessori experience, which should be realized in the 2028-29 school year.

Palmer Park is a gem in the University District community with dedicated administrators, teachers, and support staff. Along with our dynamic and involved PTA the P3A community is committed to providing an optimal learning environment where our students excel and represent the district’s brightest; #P3APremier students are relentless, intellectual, successful, and exemplary.
