Volunteering at Palmer Park Prep

There are many ways to get involved in and support our amazing school. If you want to be in the building with students, chaperone field trips, or do anything when our scholars are present, you need to become a district cleared volunteer. The process for getting volunteer approval is pretty straight forward, and is outlined with screenshots in our welcome doc.

Once you are cleared by the district to volunteer, please work with your teacher to identify volunteer needs/times within a specific classroom. Once you have arranged a schedule with your teacher, please fill out this form so our staff is aware of the volunteer support we'll be receiving. We also have broader volunteer needs that are listed below.

Quarterly PTA Volunteer Needs

Every quarter the PTA hosts various meetings and events that volunteers are needed for. Please attend a PTA Meeting to find out more.

PTA Monthly Volunteer Days

Each month(ish) we host a community volunteer day. This takes place after school hours and all are welcome to attend. Stay tuned for the next volunteer opportunity!

The district runs an amazing reading tutoring program that will be activated at Palmer Park Prep in the 2023-24 school year.
