Mr. Darron Jackson

Darron Jackson, Elementary School Dean of Culture

With over 31 year in public education, Mr. Jackson has served the Detroit Public Schools and the Community District in the capacity of teacher, instructional specialist, assistant principal, and principal for 25 years, collectively.  After a brief stint as a business owner, Mr. Jackson returned to his passion of serving children as the current Dean of Culture and Climate at Munger Elementary School.  

After completing his studies at Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA, Mr. Jackson starting his journey as an educator as a Corp member for Teach for America, where he taught for 5 years in Houston, TX. 

Upon coming home to Michigan and over the last 25 years, Mr. Jackson has a proven track record of establishing great rapport with the communities he has served.  With his expertise in developing systems and integrity in communicating with all stakeholders with respect and empathy, he serves as great value added to the culture and climate of Munger Elementary Middle School.

Rolando del Corral

As a proud Detroit Public School graduate, Mr. Rolando del Corral knows and understands the importance of learning in an environment that is supportive and positive.  As a Dean of Culture, his goal is to create and sustain a school community that is caring, welcoming, nurturing with high expectations for all students.  Mr. D will be dedicated to servicing the middle school population.
