Mr. Donnell Burroughs

Principal's Corner

Principal Donnell Burroughs grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and earned his Bachelor of Science in history and his Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University. Mr. Burroughs also received his Masters in Special Education from Wayne State University in 2019. He is on his 21st year as an educator in the city of Detroit. Mr. Burroughs has been principal at Munger Elementary-Middle School for 8 years and is thoroughly enjoying his experience at Munger. He is committed to the students who attend Detroit Public School Community District. During his career he has taught at every grade level from K-12 and his entire career has been here in Detroit.

Mr. Burroughs enjoys basketball, football, bowling, tennis, biking, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Munger Elementary Middle is a model school in DPSCD with supportive parents, working collaboratively with school staff to support our amazing students.
