Ms. LaToyia Webb

Ms. LaToyia Webb is a proud DPS grad from Cass Technical H S. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University in Special Education and a Masters' degree from Wayne State University in Educational Leadership with Special Education and K-12 certifications.

Ms. Webb has been serving students at DPSCD for 19 years. She began her career as a special education teacher for the Emotionally Impaired and Resource Room population for many enjoyable years. She has been in a leadership position for the past 9 years. Ms. Webb is currently serving as principal at Durfee for the second year.

She has a big heart and treats people the way she wants to be treated. She is committed to ensuring that the students in DPSCD experience academic, social and emotional success in an environment that supports teaching and learning. Ms. Webb can truly say that she loves her job because of her students, staff, parents, and community relationships that are formed!
