Welcome

Dear Parents and Students of Central High School,

We are excited to welcome our 9^th graders, all new students and our returning Central Trailblazers for the 2024-2025 school year! We have high expectations for all our students as we prepare them for college and careers. Let's work together to maintain a safe and secure learning environment, so students can reach their full potential while attaining credits for graduation. Attendance is vital to our students’ academic success. Students are expected to attend all classes each day, on time, for each class, and to remain in school the entire school day.

Helpful reminders for guardians:

School starts every day at 8:00 a.m. promptly and ends at 2:55 p.m. School doors open at 7:40.

Students arriving after 10:00 a.m. will be required to have a parent escort them into the building.

Once a student has missed more than ten (10) days, they will be considered "truant" and reported to DPSCD and/or Wayne County.

Early Sign-outs: Early release is discouraged after 2:25 p.m.

All early sign-outs require an ID for security purposes.

THERE WILL BE ABSOLUTELY NO DOOR DASH, GRUB HUB OR FOOD BEING DELIVERED FROM ANY OUTSIDE SOURCE. LUNCH SHOULD BE BROUGHT INTO THE BUILDING AT TIME OF ENTRY.
