I am a passionate educator and administrator with over 20 years of experience in the field of special education.  I hold a M. ED. in Special Education with a focus on inclusive practices and I have dedicated my career to advocating for students with diverse learning needs.  I hold a current certificate in Psychology, Specific Learning Disabilities, Emotional Impairment, and Special Education Supervisory Administration.  
I consider myself to be a dynamic and innovative teacher and leader.  I am known for my ability to create engaging learning environments and being a creative problem solver.  My research interests include positive behavior support, current classroom management techniques, and Universal Design for Learning.   
My philosophy of full inclusion for students with disabilities is rooted in the belief that all individuals have the right to access a quality education in an inclusive and supportive environment.  I believe that inclusive education promotes diversity, fosters empathy and understanding, and prepares students for the diverse world they will encounter beyond the classroom.
