Mrs. Williams-Taylor

Mrs. Williams-Taylor's journey from her undergraduate studies at Wayne State University to her current role as Assistant Principal at Fisher Magnet Upper Academy is truly inspiring. With a strong educational background in communication and English, coupled with her Master of Arts in Teaching, she has equipped herself with the knowledge and skills necessary to make a significant impact in the field of education.

Her extensive experience in both human services and education, spanning over 15 and 18 years respectively, reflects her deep commitment to serving others and facilitating positive change. Her tenure with the Detroit Public Schools Community District, in various roles including Math Teacher, Math Coach, School Improvement Coordinator, and Math Instructional Specialist, showcases her versatility and dedication to enhancing educational opportunities for students.

As Dean of Culture at Fisher Magnet Lower Academy, Mrs. Williams-Taylor demonstrated her unwavering belief in the power of education to transform lives. Her emphasis on creating a positive climate and culture within the school highlights her understanding of the crucial link between a supportive environment and academic success. By implementing effective intervention strategies and providing professional development opportunities for staff, she fostered an atmosphere where all students could thrive.

Now, in her new role as Assistant Principal at Fisher Magnet Upper Academy, Mrs. Williams-Taylor continues to lead by example, setting high expectations for both students and staff alike. Her commitment to excellence, coupled with her analytical abilities and dedication to continuous improvement, ensures that Fisher Magnet Upper Academy remains a beacon of academic achievement and positive school culture.

Mrs. Williams-Taylor's promotion is a testament to her exceptional leadership qualities and her unwavering dedication to the success of every student.
