Stephanie Gaines is a Detroit native and a product of Detroit Public Schools. She is passionate about creating an environment where students can learn, thrive, and grow their skills and talents. With a knack for developing relationships, Ms. Gaines works to galvanize the staff, students, families, and school community toward the full implementation of our school's vision that has been set by our principal. Ms. Gaines received her formal education from Eastern Michigan University and Michigan State University and has been an educator in the Metro Detroit and Detroit area since 2007. Ms. Gaines has experience as a teacher, department chair, School Improvement Co-Chair, School Improvement Grant Co-Chair, Instructional Coach, professional development facilitator, administrator, and other capacities that will support her current position. Ms. Gaines is excited to be a member of the Blackwell family and is committed to serving the families, staff, and students through integrity, excellence, and love.
