    Academic Games challenges students to use higher-order thinking skills in the subject of mathematics, Language Arts, and Social Studies. It helps to instill the values of character and integrity in students and provides the opportunity for students to meet and share ideas with peers throughout the Detroit Public School Community District.

    Healthy Kids Club

    Healthy Kids Club,  after-school program sponsored by Wayne State, for K-5 students if offered every Thursday from 3:40-4:40 pm.  The program provides students, faculty and parents, opportunity and education about physical activity and healthy eating.  The Healthy Kids Club is one of six components of the Building Healthy Communities initiative designed to improve the health of elementary school students.  The other component includes; Principal Engagement, Classroom education, Quality physical education, Active recess, and Student Leadership team.

      STEM AfterSchool Program

      Our STEM(science, technology, engineering, math) AfterSchool program focuses on preparing  our students for the challenging, science-based fields that have increasing importance in the modern world.
