Student of the Month
Each month, Clemente teachers choose two students from their classroom to be the Student of the Month representative. Students are chosen based on various characteristics or actions such as being Respectful, Responsible, Safe, Engaged, and Strong at home and at school. If you are wondering how you can be the Student of the Month, here are some things to think about and work towards.

5th Grade Transition
Transitioning from 5th grade to middle school marks a significant milestone in a student's academic journey. It introduces them to new environments, expectations, and opportunities for growth. Visiting feeder schools such as Earhart and Clippert can play a vital role in facilitating this transition. These visits offer students the chance to familiarize themselves with the layout of the school, meet future teachers and classmates, and gain insights into the academic and extracurricular offerings. By participating in orientation programs and exploring the facilities, students can build confidence and ease any anxieties they may have about the transition process.
-

Field Trips
All grade levels will attend educational field trips that support their academic and cultural development. Teachers coordinate outings based on the curriculum content outlined by the district. Students are enriched through the inclusion of carefully planned field trips. Field trips expand the curriculum and strengthen observational skills by immersing children into sensory activities and increases children's knowledge in a particular subject area. Firsthand experience can provide children with information and a level of understanding that adds elements of realism to their play and enriches their overall learning. When students visit different educational facilities, they learn in a more hands-on and interactive manner than they do in school.
