Black History Program

Throughouth the month of February, Dossin students took the time to honor the accomplishements of many well known, and some not so well known African Americans. Without their past struggles and successes, we might not know the freedoms we enjoy today. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Harriet Tubman, and President Barack Obama are just a few of our heroes and sheroes. The culmination of the celebration was the Black History Program and Talent show. Students in Kindergarten through 8th grade participated and compeeted.

2nd Place - Amaya, GJermia, Lauren, and Jania performed a musical selection

3rd Place - Daniel performed a creative hip hop dance
