• A Day On, Not A Day Off Programs

The Men of Alpha Phi Alpha came to Dossin in support of the MLK "A Day On, Not A Day Off" community service projects.  On January 18th, Mr. Brown and his Fraternity brothers passed out food despite fridgid temperatures on this ice cold Saturday.  In addition, many students came out to support their efforts and received extra credit in their classes for participating. On Monday, Janury 19th, the programs continued.  In the morning, students were served breakfast, received education about healthy living, constructed towers out of toothpicks, and participated in a real life simulation where they learned how to budget money.  In the afternoon, students participated in the programs at the Charles H. Wright Musuem of African American History.  Everyone received lunch, many made crowns, and a few even performed on stage.  It was truly a special day.

Thanks to everyone for your participation and support.
