Arrival & Dismissal

ARRIVAL

Upon arrival to Durfee Elementary/Middle School, located inside of Central High School students,parent and visitor must enter in door number 5. Durfee doors open at 7:30 AM to welcome students and parents.

7:30 AM: At the bell, all students are to go directly to their classroom and may
participate in Universal Breakfast. Teachers are to meet and greet their students outside
their classroom door.

7:35 AM: At the bell, students are tardy.

7:40 AM: The bell signals breakfast is over. Teachers begin instruction.
Any parents bringing students to school after the tardy bell will be directed to the
Main Office to sign-in their student.

DISMISSAL

During dismissal, Kindergarten-2nd will dismiss out theTuxedo Street Exit Door #5 at 2:40 pm

Grades 3rd-8th will release out Exit Door #6.

All Parents and or Guardians picking up students prior to the dismissal bell should be
directed to the Main Office for identification verification and sign-out
procedures.
