¡Feliz Cinco de Mayo!

Join us in celebrating the vibrant culture and rich heritage of Mexico on May 5th! Cinco de Mayo commemorates the Mexican army's victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. It's a day of unity, pride, and joyous festivities.

At Roberto Clemente Learning Academy, we're embracing the spirit of Cinco de Mayo with an array of exciting events:

May 2nd, 9:00 AM & 10:00 AM: Don't miss our dynamic programs where all students will showcase their talents! Join us for two electrifying performances filled with music, dance, and cultural expressions.

May 2nd, 2:00 PM: Get ready to march to the rhythm of school pride and Cinco de Mayo! Our students and staff will parade around the school, spreading joy and celebration.

May 5th, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM: The festivities continue as Roberto Clemente Learning Academy and the PTA proudly participate in the Southwest Detroit Cinco de Mayo parade! Join us on Vernor from Patton Park to Clark Park for a vibrant display of community spirit and Mexican heritage.
