2024-2025 Mathematic Bee Winners

Barton students showcased their math skills in an exciting Math Bee Competition for grades 1-2 and 3-5! Students competed by solving challenging math problems, demonstrating their hard work and dedication. Student participants in lower elementary (grades 1 and 2) solved addition and subtraction problems (addends and minuends 0-20), while upper elementary students in grades 3 through 5 solved multiplication and division problems (factors and divisors 0-15). There were many competitors, but only the top 2 in each grade band will have an opportunity to move to the district competition. The Barton school-wide winners in grade band 1-2 are Sirles Robertson (2nd Grade-1st place) and Ne'Veah Allen (2nd Grade-2nd place). The winners in grade band 3-5 are Connor Raines (5th grade - 1st place) and Jeremy Barnes (5th grade - 2nd place). The winners from each group will move on to the next round at MLK High School on April 26, 2025. Mrs. Washington will provide more details to the winners soon. Congratulations to all participants for their great effort and enthusiasm!
