Barton Staff Shows Support with a Special Clap-In!

To show support and encouragement for the Barton Bear students, Principal Adams organized a Clap-In and Clap-Out event, inspired by Dr. Vitti’s suggestion. From March 4th to March 7th, 2025, Barton staff lined the hallways each morning and afternoon, cheering and clapping as students entered and exited the building. The claps began at 8:30 AM and 3:35 PM, creating a warm and exciting atmosphere to make students feel special and excited about coming to school every day. The smiles and surprised expressions on the students and some parents' faces were priceless. Some students even brought their teachers flowers and treats the next day. Principal Adams shared, “A small gesture like this can make a big impact, helping us maintain or even grow Barton’s enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year.” She also encourages staff to stay united and continue supporting students during these uncertain times in education. Way to go, Barton Bears!
