Free Parent Academy Session Mental Health Awareness: Join the Office of Family and Community Engagement as they discuss the stigma around mental illness and mental health conditions. ESE Parent Advisory Committee (PAC): DPSCD's Parent Advisory Committee's (PAC) mission is to empower parents, guardians, and grandparents of students with an active Individualized Education Program (IEP) with knowledge as it relates to their participation in the special education process, delivery of services, and funding for schools. In addition, members will work with key stakeholders to make decisions and recommendations regarding compliance, parent and community involvement, and ongoing issues related to special education. Virtual orientation for New and Returning Adult Education students: The Adult Education Program will host a virtual orientation session for new and returning students this coming Tuesday January 9, 2024. Upon registration completion, a link will be provided to the virtual session. Contact your career coach if you have any questions.
