- Our Programs
-
Bennett strives to have a variety of on going programs and specific activities to keep our students engaged and excited about school all year long. Several of our programs take place outside of the school day, such as overnight or weekend competitions. Our Activities take place during the school day and we invite our families to join us to support our students in their learning and to celebrate their successes.

Teamwork and leadership skills were a big part of the experience for the students.

PAL Soccer
Soccer for Success is an after school soccer based youth program brought to us by the U.S. Soccer Foundation and Detroit PAL. The program introduces children to the sport of soccer and uses it as a vehicle to promote healthy life style choices. Over the course of twelve weeks, players learn different aspects of the game as well as useful tips about nutrition and overall health. This year, we partnered with RISE and the Detroit Police Department to focus on bridging the gap between communities with the power of sport. During the last six weeks of the season, select players participate in competitive games at Patton Park against other DPSCD schools.
