Academic Assistance

Office Hours

Teachers are available for tutoring from 2:30-3:00pm

Communications and Media Arts High School takes pleasure in offering resources and support to all our students. These supports are suggested to students who find themselves struggling academically. We understand that students may have difficulty adjusting, understanding the instructions, and staying focused. We offer the following services for students after school from 3:00-4:30p.m.

Afterschool tutoring for Math, English, Social Studies, and Science.

Social Studeis- Mr. Fresh, Room A-1

English- Mr. Conwell, Room A-3

Math- Mr. Moussa, Room A-10

AFTER SCHOOL EDGENUITY CREDIT RECOVERY

Students who failed a core class required for graduation are required to participate in CMA’s After-school credit recovery. Credit recovery meets face-to-face, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays 3:00-5:00 p.m. in the subject areas of Math, Science, ELA, and Social Studies. Parents, please encourage your child to actively attend and participate in credit recovery to support an on-time graduation.
