Tuition Incentive Program
Tip is the Tuition Incentive Program. This program aims to help students attend and complete college by giving financial aid. If you are enrolled in Medicaid, there is a good chance you qualify. We will have a TIP registration day October 23rd. Students will be sent home with more information, please bring your social security number. You must file a FAFSA to be eligible for this free tuition option.
Detroit Promise Scholarship
The Detroit Promise provides last-dollar funding for students who live in the city of Detroit and will graduate from any high school located in Detroit. The Detroit Promise provides Detroit youth a tuition-free path to earn a post-secondary credential at several institutions after any Pell and/or TIP funding a student receives has been applied to the tuition and mandatory fees.
Announcing AAA Michigan's 2025 School Safety Patrol Scholarship
Scholarships of $2,500 will be awarded to two graduating seniors attending a Michigan public, private or charter high school. Students must show proof of AAA Michigan School Safety Patrol participation in elementary or middle school, good academic standing and a strong record of involvement in the community and/or extra-curricular activities. A personal letter of introduction must be included describing community and extra-curricular activities and what being a Safety Patroller meant to them.
