Mrs. Regina Issac

As a Detroit Public School alumna, Mrs. Regina Issac attended Wayne State University, where she received her Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies. Mrs. Issac then completed her educational certification in Middle School Science at Marygrove College. She graduated from Grand Canyon University with her Master’s in Educational Administration in 2017. This will be her second year as Assistant Principal at Thirkell Elementary Middle School. She is a native Detroiter, married with two adult children, and one granddaughter. As assistant principal, she believes it is imperative to provide the necessary tools to aide new and upcoming teachers in an urban setting. With these arsenals, all children would receive a quality education which would positively impact inner-city classrooms.
