Bachelors in Elementary Education & Masters in Bilingual Education

Mrs. Amanda Engel

Ms. Amanda Engel has been teaching at Maybury Elementary since 2012. She has taught first and second grades in both English and Spanish. Mrs. Engel received her Bachelors in Elementary Education from the University of Michigan- Flint in 2005, her Master's in Bilingual Education in 2012 from Wayne State University and will be completing her Educational Specialist in Administration through Wayne State University in 2022.

Mrs. Engel lives in Milford, Michigan with her husband and two daughters. Lillian is 14 and is in ninth grade at Milford Highschool and Olivia is 11, in fifth grade at St. Matthew Lutheran. They also have a dog (Wilma), a cat (George) and Trixie the classroom snake. In her free time she loves to read, garden, and spend time with her family hiking, camping, and kayaking.
