Dr. Lynn Bradley
Dr. Lynn Bradley is a Detroit native and proud Detroit Public Schools alum who has worked over two decades in the field of education! Eighteen of those years were within Detroit Public Schools - where she worked as an enthusiast teacher, Literacy Coach, Instructional Specialist, and Test Coordinator. After this stint, she moved into administration within Redford Union Public Schools as an Assistant Principal and Test Coordinator in the elementary and middle schools, recently serving as an elementary school Principal in Lake Shore Public Schools. While serving as a school leader, Dr. Bradley also works in higher education as an Adjunct Professor, Clinical Instructional Coach, and mentor to students pursuing their teacher certifications and graduate degrees - at Davenport and Wayne State Universities, in their Colleges of Education Urban Education program. Dr. Bradley has earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and English from Wayne State University, her Masters in the Art of Teaching degree with an English specialization from Marygrove College, and her Doctor of Education degree in Teacher Leadership from Walden University. Additionally, she is a State of Michigan Certified Instructional Coach.
Dr. Bradley’s educational philosophy embodies integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion to effectively serve all students with culturally responsive teaching and a rigorous learning experience. Her transformational and servant leadership style includes involving all stakeholders while fostering a positive and supportive culture and climate in the school and community. On a personal note, she resides in Saint Clair Shores - and is the mother of a 24-year-old son named Jaylen, an alum of Renaissance High School, the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, and just completed his masters at Georgetown University. Outside of work, Dr. Bradley attests to being a lifelong learner and a compassionate individual who values being a direct agent of positive change. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, serving as a mentor, volunteering in the community, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying musical and theatrical experiences.
