Ms. Micaela Sauceda Escamilla

Micaela Sauceda Escamilla has been an administrator at Clippert Multicultural Honors Academy since August 2011 and began her principalship during the school year of 2017-2018. She has been serving the Southwest Detroit community through Detroit Public Schools Community District since 2002. At Clippert Multicultural Honors Academy, your child will be embraced by staff members at every level to ensure their needs are met in every way. It is our goal to blend opportunities for academic success with a safe and secure learning environment leading to greater opportunities such as becoming valedictorians at elite high schools like Cass Technical High School.

Clippert Multicultural Honors Academy is an honors academy with high expectations of achievement and behavior. Students will be provided with a challenging curriculum that allows them to grow academically and obtain meaningful real-world experiences and career college-ready opportunities. Clippert is known to be Southwest Detroit’s “hidden jewel.” Clippert's powerful staff, under the leadership of Ms. Escamilla, are always ready to serve our school community.
