Ms. Malon Harris

Hello,

Ms. Harris has dedicated more than 20 years to shaping young minds and strengthening school communities. After graduating from Cass Technical High School, she earned both her Bachelor's of Science and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Wayne State University. Malon began her career as a science teacher, where she developed a reputation for making learning engaging and rigorous. Her passion for student success and commitment to excellence led her into school leadership, and she has been in the role of an Assistant Principal for six years.

In her leadership role, Ms. Harris focuses on building strong relationships with students, families, and staff while fostering an inclusive, academically challenging environment. She is a firm believer in equity in education and works tirelessly to ensure every student has the tools and support needed to thrive. Known for her hands-on approach, she spends time in classrooms, supports teacher growth, and implements strategies to enhance instruction and student achievement.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Malon is deeply committed to lifelong learning and empowering others. Her mission is simple: to inspire, lead, and create opportunities for all students to succeed.
