-
- Math - The mathematics curriculum seeks to ensure mathematical competence and confidence in students in mathematics-rich classroom environments.
-
- Science - Classroom experiences in science are connected to real-world phenomena and provide opportunities to engage in science and engineering practices through exposure to STEM-related career pathways.

Here at Bow, we ensure that our curriculum is aligned with the vision of DPSCD. Our students are engaged in rigorous and relevant content in all areas, daily. Having a safe and positive learning environment is one of our top priorities. With that being said, our students and staff assist us with the full implementation of the mission and vision- daily.
Our curriculum includes English Language Arts (EL Education), Mathematics (Eureka Math), Science (Mystery Science), and Social Studies.
Daily literacy instruction consists of core and small group instruction. The length of each component varies by grade band. Each grade-level’s core module instruction is 60–75 minutes followed an hour of small group intervention.

All students take elective classes for a well-rounded educational experience.
Physical Education & Health: Mr. Weatherspoon
- Students will engage in physical education routines to promote strength, coordination, and agility. They will also be exposed to health facts and tips for balanced eating.
Music: Ms. Barker
- Student’s learning revolves around active musical engagement. Students learn the fundamental dimensions of music by singing songs, moving to music.
Foreign Language- French & German: Mr. Diouf
- The curriculum is designed for learners with little to no knowledge of the French language to develop the ability to communicate basic information in French while building their initial understanding of French culture and its multicultural practices. The three modes of communication (interpersonal, presentational, and interpretive) are practiced during this program of study, which presents grammar in context; incorporates writing, reading, listening, speaking, teaching, and learning activities; uses authentic cultural materials and resources; and relates familiar topics to encourage language learners to practice the target language.
- The goal of the Office of World Languages is for French language learners to develop basic intercultural skills and a novice-high level of proficiency in the ACFTL proficiency scale by the end of the two-year program.
- Students (K-5) develop effective communication in French (German for 6-8) as well as develop the cultural competence to help them become better-equipped global citizens. Students learn basic grammar and sentence construction. Class assignments focus on the development of vocabulary, reading, writing, and conversational skills.
Computers- Mr. Ziegenbein:
