Dear Parents, Students, and Staff,

I am honored and excited to introduce myself as the new principal of Carver STEM Academy. As we begin this journey together, I'd like to share a bit about my background and vision for the school.

For the past 24 years, I've had the privilege of serving in various roles within Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD). Eight of those years have been as a principal, where I've focused on school turnaround efforts and driving academic improvement.

As we look to the future, our key areas of focus will be:

Increasing academic achievement
Boosting enrollment
Improving attendance

These goals are ambitious, but I'm confident that by working together, we can create positive change for our students and community. My experience has shown that when parents, students, and staff collaborate, we can overcome any challenge.

I believe in open communication and welcome your ideas and feedback. In the coming weeks, I'll organize opportunities to meet and discuss our shared vision for Carver.

Let's embrace this new chapter with enthusiasm and determination. By working stronger together, we can ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.
