May 5-9 is Teacher Appreciation Week! Let’s come together to celebrate and thank our teachers for the hard work they have done this year to work with our scholars. The leadership team has planned several ways in which we will show our appreciation; however, the entire community can join in as well. Here are some ways you can recognize a teacher at SWA:

Monday - Bring your teacher a flower.

Tuesday - Take your child’s teacher to lunch (gift card).

Wednesday - Take your child’s teacher to the spa (body care items, candles, etc.)

Thursday - Thoughtful Thursday, choose something from the heart.

Friday - Freestyle (Be creative)

Every school day matters. In order to encourage excellent attendance, we are having an April attendance competition. Any student who has perfect attendance for the month will be entered in a raffle to win a 42-inch television. Make sure your scholar is at school every day to learn and have a chance to meet their academic goals.
