Mr. Eddie Wright

Mr. Wright was born and raised in Flint, MI. After graduating from Eastern Michigan with a BA in Elementary Education in 2003, Mr. Wright moved to Detroit, MI, where his teaching career began. In 2012, Mr. Wright started working as a school counselor at Bates Academy. Mr. Wright states that this was his dream job and has been part of the Bates Academy Community ever since. Now serving as Dean of Culture, Mr. Wright is thankful that the district has allowed him to join this educational journey & will always believe that when Students Rise, We All Rise.
