Black History Month Program: Our Black History Month Program uses mixed arts to celebrate, educate and honor Black History.

Breast Cancer Walk: As a school we raise money, wear pink to stand with those affected by breast cancer and take a march through our school neighborhood for breast cancer awareness.

Christmas/Winter Program: Our Christmas/Winter Program uses mixed arts to celebrate the season with winter cheer.

Field Trips: Field trips enrich student learning in areas such as STEAM and Michigan and Detroit history.

March is Reading Month: During March we celebrate all things reading! We encourage reading, celebrate our growing and achieving readers and do school-wide read-alouds.

PBIS Rewards: Perfect Attendance Celebrations, PBIS Cubhouse Store: Our PBIS Rewards recognize and celebrate students who continuously achieve and show growth in the areas of Attendance, Behavior and Curriculum.

Quarterly/Holiday Dances: We celebrate seasons and dance our way into school breaks.

Student of the Month: Student of the Month recognizes those students who are leaders, show growth and achieve highly in each classroom. Students are also recognized for displaying high-level character traits such as respect, responsibility, kindness and integrity.

Spirit week: We show school and seasonal spirit through different themed dress days.

Spring Fling Program: Our Spring Fling Program uses mixed arts to celebrate the arrival of spring.

Trunk-or-Treat: Trunk-or-Treat is safe way for students to trick or treat during the Halloween season.

Quarterly Honors Ceremony: The quarterly honors ceremony recognizes and celebrates students' high academic achievement. Students grades K-2 are eligible for Honor Roll while students grades 3-5 are eligible for the Honor Roll (3.0 no Ds or Fs) and the Principal's List (3.5 no Cs, Ds or Fs)

Family Night: Family Nights bring Mann families together for a night of fun, food and learning through activities and games that promote math skills and literacy. Family Nights at Mann are Family STEAM Night, Family Reading Night and Family Game night and are held throughout the school year.
