Push to proficiency students

On October 30, 2024, a group of K-8 students from Durfee Elementary-Middle School’s "Push to Proficiency" program attended a performance of the Universal Soul Circus held on the Central-Durfee Campus. This event was part of a motivational effort to support students close to achieving proficiency on key assessments, including the M-STEP, PSAT, i/Ready, and Benchmark tests. Academic Interventionists, City Year members, and ESE Paras escorted these selected students to the event, encouraging them to reach their academic goals.
