Academics Games

The School at Marygrove sent two academic teams to the State Super Tournament in March and were the top-ranked Detroit team. Thank you to Coach Janness for supporting out scholars.

The Huskies, made up of: Amara Small (12th grade), Corey McKenzie (12th grade), Amir Gooden (11th grade), Audrey Richardson (11th grade), Charlene Asomugha (11th grade) won Four bronze medals (Games: Equations, Linguishtik, Propaganda, Presidents) and one

One gold medal/state championship (Game: Theme).

The Malamutes, made up of Dallas McCarty (12th grade), Mayomi Otagba (10th grade), Naomi Hightower (9th grade), Taylor Jemison (11th grade), Jada Hill (11th grade) won One divisional title (Game: On-Sets) and One bronze medal (Game: On-Sets).
