K9.0 Robotics

Shout out to the high school robotics team! This weekend they competed with their robot Anubis at state qualifiers at Wayne State University. They placed 4th out of 40 teams and are headed to the state championship tournament. They also won the "First Impact Award". The First Impact Award is the most prestigious award in the FIRST league. It honors the team that best represents a model for other teams to emulate and best embodies the purpose and goals of FIRST. The Marygrove K9.0 team was able to demonstrate the most significant and measurable impact with their partnerships and community over a sustained period, not just one season. They have now been invited to the district championships where they will compete against other FIRST Impact award winners from a crossed the State of Michigan.
