Bunche Students Learn About Financial Literacy

Bunche students took part in "Surviving in the real world simulation", an interactive learning experience that strives to teach students about the importance of financial literacy. Students acted out different financial scenarios and had to manage their money in these different life situations. Some ran into unexpected situations that caused them to spend more money then they had planned, such as medical and family emergencies. Students were also introduced to the concept of payment plans such car loans and house payments. On top of all of that Bunche Students also learned to budget for everyday expenses such as grocery shopping. At the end of the activity student's spending and remaining finances were reviewed then they found out if they would have survived in the real world based off of their financial choices.
