Honolulu Blue Day at A. L. Holmes

On April 25, 2024, the vibrant spirit of Detroit's football fandom was alive and well at A. L. Holmes Academy of Blended Learning as staff and students united to celebrate Honolulu Blue Day. With the governor's declaration, honoring the opening of the NFL draft in Detroit, the school community donned their cherished Detroit Lions' attire, showcasing their pride and support for the beloved team. From jerseys to t-shirts, the halls resonated with the colors and symbols synonymous with Detroit football. This spirited celebration not only demonstrated the school's enthusiasm for local sports but also fostered a sense of unity and camaraderie among staff and students alike, highlighting the importance of community engagement and pride in shared cultural events.
