Arrival/Dismissal Procedures

School Day
Monday-Friday: 8:30 AM – 3:40 PM
Students must follow the school day schedule, unless an extreme emergency exists. Parents and guardians should refrain from early dismissal. In case of student absence, please notify the attendance agent, Mrs. Nancy Cepeda-Nance.
Arrival For Students
Students begin school at 8:30 AM Monday-Friday and should enter the building at their grade level assigned door.
Late Arrival For Students
Students who arrive late should enter the main (blue) door and ring the buzzer. Please write a note, explaining why the student is late in order to potentially have it excused.
Dismissal For Students
Students are dismissed at 3:40 PM by their final teacher of each day using the same door they enter each morning. In order to avoid building congestion, please wait for your child outside.
Early Dismissal For Student
Parents must sign students out in the office or the classroom. If a student is leaving early, the office staff will call that student to the main office. Under no circumstance should you allow a child to be dismissed early if a parent comes to your room to get the child without notifying the office. Please inform the parent that he or she must sign out the child.
