Detroit Lions Academy (D.L.A.) is an Alternative Middle School with a unique program. Our program provides an opportunity for over-age students to get back on the path to success in order to reach high school graduation. Students have a second chance to be successful in a supportive academic and social environment. Detroit Lions Academy provides high quality face-to-face education. In order to meet each student's needs, we offer smaller classroom sizes to deliver individualized or small group instruction. D.L.A. participates in our district's implementation of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (P.B.I.S.) to improve and encourage positive behaviors and academic outcomes. We proudly stand with our district by supporting the "Expect Respect".
