Renaissance Mathematics Department prepares students for college and career readiness. Our mission is to improve student achievement in mathematics.

Objectives

Our targeted objectives are:

to improve students’ understanding of the mathematics, through conceptual understanding and procedural knowledge using a variety of tools

to provide students with practical experience in mathematical skills that are a bridge to the real world of employment and adult responsibilities

to provide a learning environment where students are fully engaged, observing, predicting, questioning, and collaborating with their classmates to develop solutions to real-life situations
