Dress Code

Parents/Guardians:

Emerson Elementary/Middle school will uphold the expectations of the DPSCD Appropriate Dress for enrolled K-12 students.

Uniform

Students are expected to be in uniform the First day of school and throughout the school year.

Slacks/Pants

All slacks or pants must be solid in color: Khaki, navy blue, or black.

Shirts/Tops

All enrolled Emerson students should wear the approved solid colors: Navy blue, white, or burgundy.

Sweaters/Cardigans

Sweaters and cardigans should be solid in color and adhere to the expected uniform colors.

Footwear

Can be athletic, loafers, dress shoes (no high heels), or other closed toe/closed heel shoes.

Any changes to the required dress code policy will be communicated in writing.

Please note: No hoodies, blue jeans, or oversized jewelry.
