Mrs. Cynthia C. Alexander

My name is Cynthia C. Alexander and I am currently the 12th Grade Assistant Principal at Western International High School. I earned a Bachelors of Science in Education and a Masters in Education Administration from Wayne State University. In my career in Education I have had the opportunity serve as a middle school ELA teacher for 6th -8th grade students. I also worked as a Master Teacher for ELA and Dean of Students for a K-8th Grade school in DPSCD. I am proud to come from a family who currently serve and that have retired from the Army & Airforce. I have had the opportunity to grow up abroad in Asia, which has given me the skill set to adapt successfully in a culturally rich school such as Western International High School. I am excited and look forward to helping the students, staff and parents to achieve the goals set forth by our principal and administration team.
