Mr. Frederick Cannon

Frederick Cannon is a Michigan native, born and raised in East Lansing. Mr. Cannon was educated in the East Lansing Public School System. After graduating high school, Mr. Cannon went on to pursue his studies at Alabama A&M in Huntsville, Alabama. He is a proud HBCU graduate. Mr. Cannon, received his Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Alabama A&M. Mr. Cannon also hold's two Master's Degrees in the Art of Teaching and in Administration from Marygrove College.

Mr. Cannon began his teaching career in Detroit in 2001. He has also served as a Curriculum Coordinator and an AEA within DPSCD. Mr. Cannon is serving in his 3rd year as Principal at Charles L. Spain School. Mr. Cannon has been instrumental in creating partnerships and investing in Spain to continue to build it's legacy as a strong academic and performing arts school.

Mr. Cannon is also a proud father of 4 sons.
