Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Michelle Hall

Our principal, Ms. Hall, has served the children of Detroit Public Schools Community District for close to 20 years. She attended Detroit Public Schools as a child and grew up in the general area of Pasteur. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Detroit Mercy and a Master of Education degree in curriculum, instruction, and leadership from Oakland University. Ms. Hall is a lifelong learner currently in school working on a post-graduate degree in educational leadership which she hopes to use to help improve outcomes for students and staff alike.

Ms. Hall enjoys working to improve the opportunities for children. She has been able to use her voice to record audiobooks for blind children. She has given her time to Habitat for Humanity and Paint the Town initiatives to provide clean and safe housing, and she volunteers through her church to provide food and clothing to people in need. Ms. Hall states that she participates in such activities because she loves to help people. She lives her life by the motto, “Give to the world the best that you have, and the best will come back to you.”
