Dr. Michelle Hall

Dr. Hall's Biography

Our assistant principal, Dr. Hall, has served the children of Detroit Public Schools Community District for more than 20 years. She attended Detroit Public Schools from Kindergarten through high school. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Detroit Mercy, a Master of Education degree in curriculum, instruction, and leadership from Oakland University, and a doctorate in educational leadership, which she hopes to use to help improve outcomes for students and staff alike.

Dr. Hall enjoys working in a variety of ways to improve opportunities for children. She has used her voice to record audio books for blind children. She has given her time to Habitat for Humanity and Paint the Town initiatives to provide clean and safe housing, and she volunteers through her church to provide food and clothing to people in need. Dr. Hall stated that she participates in such activities because she loves to help people. She lives her life by the motto, "Give to the world the best that you have, and the best will come back to you".

"I enjoy helping the students at Hutchinson Elementary-Middle School continue to grow academically and socially, and I look forward to supporting families and staff".
