    Student Tardiness and Attendance

CMA is experiencing a growing number of students with consistent absences and or tardies. Parents, please recognize the importance of having your students in school daily and on time. Every minute a student misses school is instructional time they can’t get back. This directly affects their grades and their overall success.

Please note, the building opens at 7:15 am daily.

Additionally, look for a letter soon that shows your students’ attendance. If attendance is a struggle, call us at 313-866 -9300. CMA’s Attendance Agent is Ms. Erica Thompson, erica.thompson@detroitk12.org
