John White

Dean White is going into his fourth year at Detroit Renaissance as the Dean of Student Culture. His aim is to help empower every young lady and man that attends Renaissance to walk in their destiny.

While taking the position at Renaissance, White's responsibility was to enhance and improve an already safe culture within the building, and to ensure not only students, but parents and faculty that Renaissance is safe for everyone that walk the halls of this educational institution.

The climate at Renaissance aims to make all students, parents, and faculty feel like they're a part of one big family. "My work here at Renaissance is just beginning, and as we strive to be the epitome of the District, we want to see our students thrive not only in the classroom, but in life."

Dean White also serves as the Head Boys Basketball Coach here at Detroit Renaissance.
