Hello and meet our new Dean: Mr. Kerry Davis

My name is Kerry Davis, I am a native of Detroit, MI and the new Dean at Marion Law Academy.

What is something interesting about you? I have an identical twin brother.

How long have I been a Dean? October 20, 2025

Where did I grow up? I grew up on the East side and the West side. During my Elementary and Middle School Years, I grew up on East 7 Mile and Dequindre. During my High School years, my parents moved us to 8 Mile and Livernois in Sherwood Forest.

What High School did I attend? The one and only Martin Luther King Jr. Senior High School. Go Crusaders!!

What college did I attend? Central Michigan University (Undergrad) & Eastern Michigan University (Graduate School).

My favorite colors are: Red, Green and Black.

What is the impact that I would like to have on our students at Marion Law Academy?

The impact I aim to have on our students is to ensure they understand that when they meet with me, I am here to support them. My role is not to be viewed as “the mean guy,” but rather as someone committed to helping them grow into better individuals both inside and outside the classroom. I strive to accomplish this by holding students accountable for their actions, promoting and recognizing positive and improved behavior, and ultimately serving as an advocate for their success.
