CMU Upward Bound Program
This outreach program helps our students find a path to college. It is a college academic program that guides our students to develop their potential to succeed in college. Once accepted, students are invited to participate until high school graduation.

DAPCEP
The Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program provides our students innovative educational programming in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine. Through this supplemental educational programming, students become prepared academically to pursue degrees leading to powerful careers.

Eastern Michigan University- Gear Up
Gear Up works with students to ensure they are college and career ready as they move into their higher education.

Ignite Club
Clippert's honors programs requires that students have outstanding academic achievement and citizenship. Students that qualify for this program are able to participate in a fun activity each quarter. Some past activities have included an ice cream party, ice skating afternoon, and even a trip to the movie theater!

Inside Out Literary Arts Program
Students participate during school hours to work on creative writing projects or learn improv. They are led by the wonderful program staff to aid students in discovering the power of language and the written word for creating change.

Parent Teacher Association
The PTA is a primary parent organization that provides the district with a national, uniform, and well-resourced platform for parents and teachers to work together for the benefit of students. PTAs at each school create a clear strategy to ensure teachers and parents are working closer together to advocate for our schools and children.

School Advisory Council
The School Advisory Council (SAC) is a 19 person decision-making body at the school level that is comprised of school leadership, school staff, parents, students, and community members that work to bring to life the school improvement plan.

Shakespeare in Detroit
Students with the Drama elective learn how STEAM and theater are connected through studying the works of William Shakespeare. The team from Shakespeare in Detroit makes this learning fun and accessible for everyone!

Student Council representatives are chosen from each homeroom and are called upon to provide a voice for their peers and to provide service for their school community.
