Programs at Brenda Scott Academy
At BSA we believe in providing a wide range of programs that allow students ample opportunity to enrich their lives beyond their classroom experiences. Our programs support our school's mission and vision that our scholars will be able to participate in programs that will enrich their learning, allowing them to grow to be leaders in their communities.
Programs at BSA include athletics, STEM programs, student council, equity and diversity clubs, academic games and more! Every student at Brenda Scott Academy has the chance to participate in some kind of program that will help them grow as students, citizens and leaders.

We currently offer robotics as an after school program.

Chess Club
The Chess Club at Brenda Scott Academy is led by Ms. Linn. Students in grades first through eighth learned how to play the game and then competed in multiple events.

JEDI Club

After School Tutoring
Brenda Scott Academy is proud to be supported by the City Year program. City Year does many wonderful things with our students, including after school tutoring. Select teachers also offer after school tutoring. For more information please contact the school office for more information.

Student Council
Student Council
Students in grades 5 through 8 can run to be elected to positions on Brenda Scott Academy's student council. Students take place in realistic election events such as voting in booths, using a ballot, making speeches and campaigning.
